Asus goes all in on CoPilot+ laptop PCs at Computex 2024

Asus has gone all in on the emerging Co-Pilot+ laptop PC category with the launch of a slew of new models across its ProArt, Zenbook, Vivobook families at Computex 2024. In a huge win for AMD, all these models are powered by the new AMD Ryzen™ AI 300 Series processors with exception of the Vivobook S 15, which is features the Qualcomm Snapdragon X platform.

Asus’s three new ProArt laptop models are targeted at content creators. They include the 16-inch ProArt P16 clamshell, the 13-inch ProArt PX13 convertible, and the 13-inch ProArt PZ13 detachable. These models are equipped with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 mobile GPU, delivering up to 321 TOPS (Trillion Operations per Second) of performance. The laptops also feature Asus exclusive StoryCube and MuseTree apps, which streamline creative workflows by providing AI assistance for digital asset management and idea generation.

The Zenbook S 16 (UM5606) is S 16 is a sleek and lightweight ultraportable device that is just 1.1 cm slim and weighs 1.5 kg. only 1.1 thin and features a Ceraluminum lid cover. Ceraluminum is a new durable ceramic with a unique look and feel.

The Zenbook S 16 supports the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor and includes advanced cooling systems and a geometric grille design for efficient airflow. The laptop also boasts a 16-inch 3K 16:10 display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, offering stunning visuals, and its six speaker sound system further elevates the user experience.

The Asus Vivobook S 15 (S5507) is the company’s first Copilot+ PC powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor, and delivers 45 TOPS of performance using the integrated Hexagon NPU (neural processor unit) and an 18-hour battery life. The Vivobook series also includes the new 14-inch S 14, 15.6-inch S15, and 16-inch Vivobook S featuring the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor.

Asus also introduced two new models in the TUF Gaming series: the 14-inch TUF Gaming A14 and the 16-inch TUF Gaming A16. These laptops feature ultraportable designs and are powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU to ensure outstanding performance when running gaming and AI-enhanced productivity applications.

The new AI-powered laptops from Asus are now available for pre-order worldwide, with prices starting at $1,399 for the Zenbook S 16, $1,699 for the ProArt PX13 convertible, and $1,899 for the ProArt P16 clamshell.
